The Boston Bruins and general manager Don Sweeney look like they've already got a pretty good game plan for the offseason.

They'll wait until after the expansion draft most likely to re-sign Tuukka Rask and David Krejci so they don't have to protect them and have a bit more salary cap space to play with.

Some of that salary cap space sounds like it's reserved for their big trade deadline acquisition.

General manager Don Sweeney confirmed to reporters that there's mutual interest from both sides to get a long term deal done with Taylor Hall.

“He’s expressed interest. Mutual interest to have him back,” said general manager Don Sweeney. “Have an early conversation with his representatives. We’ll have to see where all the pieces fit together.”

Hall registered 14 points in 16 games after being acquired from Buffalo and added 5 points in 11 playoff games which included his 5th career fight.

Would you like to see Hall stick around in Boston long term?
