The Boston Bruins are in reflection mode after everybody's been home for awhile and with that comes the start of some changes.

General manager Don Sweeney and head coach Bruce Cassidy both admitted that there needs to be some change with the group to keep things going.

What those changes will be will likely heavily take place on the blueline.

All indications point to Torey Krug hitting the free agent market which will leave a big hole in the B's defense.

That's why Bruins insider Fluto Shinzawa believes there's a possible deal on the table between the Bruins and Carolina Hurricanes.

If Krug leaves, Shinzawa believes we might see Anders Bjork shipped off to the Hurricanes for defenseman Jake Gardiner.

Gardiner received some slack during his time in Toronto for not living up to expectations in a high pressure market and followed that up with a -24 performance in Carolina this past season.

The 30 year old has two years left on his deal with an AAV of $4million.

Would you make this trade?
