The Boston Bruins and general manager Don Sweeney will be making some changes this offseason and some might come at bargain prices.

While we wait to see what exactly Sweeney might do with his defense, it seems he might add a veteran to the bottom six.

Mikko Koivu was recently told by the Minnesota Wild that he wouldn't be brought back and would be hitting free agency.

The 37 year old would likely sign for cheap somewhere and signing with a contender would be a priority.

According to Wild insider Michael Russo of The Athletic, the Bruins along with the Philadelphia Flyers, Montreal Canadiens, New York Rangers, Florida Panthers and Pittsburgh Penguins are the teams with interest in Koivu.

Would you like to see Koivu in a Bruins uniform?
