The Boston Bruins were bounced out from the bubble thanks to the Tampa Bay Lightning in a very odd Stanley Cup Playoffs.
It definitely took a weird turn when Tuukka Rask revealed he was leaving the bubble to take care of a family emergency.
It wasn't the only road block the Bruins had to deal with as David Pastrnak was dealing with an injury the whole time and now Patrice Bergeron has revealed he was playing injured as well.
It's arguably not a surprise as Bergeron seems to be dealing with an injury almost every playoff run.
This year it was the famous groin making a return.
“It’s the same old song and dance with this. It comes and goes and it’s something I just manage and deal with”
Bergeron added that he'll be shutting it down for awhile to give his body a chance to reboot.
Patrice Bergeron said it was lingering groin issues he was dealing with in the playoffs: “It’s the same old song and dance with this. It comes and goes and it’s something I just manage and deal with” He said he plans on shutting it down for a bit offseason to let things calm down
