It's no secret, the Boston Bruins window to keep making a run for the Stanley Cup seems to be closing.
Some of the team's key players aren't getting any younger but lucky for the Bruins they've got some solid young pieces for the next wave.
However now it seems the team is willing to trade two of those key young pieces.
According to Fluto Shinzawa of The Athletic, the Bruins are shopping forward Jake DeBrusk and defenseman Brandon Carlo.
"The Bruins are listening on DeBrusk and Carlo, partly because they don’t have many other legitimate young NHL players as trade collateral. Carlo’s identity as a robust shutdown defenseman appears firm. DeBrusk’s status as a No. 2 left wing may not be as steady."
Smart move to try and move two of the team's best young players?
