The Boston Bruins put together an incredible 4-3 win against the Florida Panthers on Thursday night.
Boston scored three goals in the third period for the comeback win and did something the franchise has only did once before.
The Bruins win was just the second time in team history that they've overcame a deficit in the final minute and won in regulation.
While Patrice Bergeron scored the game winning goal on Thursday, it was non other than Bruins legend Ray Bourque who scored the winner on December 4th 1986 with one second left to play.
Per NHL stats, tonight's win marked just the second time in team history that we've overcome a deficit in the final minute and won in regulation. The first came on Dec. 4 1986. @RayBourque77 had the winner with one second to play.#NHLBruins pic.twitter.com/GtM2pkxw93
