The Boston Bruins and Boston Red Sox both made big statements on Monday.

The Bruins pounded on the Ottawa Senators in the afternoon during their home opener, while the Red Sox humiliated the Yankees later on Monday night.

During the Bruins game, the crowd started to break out into "Yankees Suck" chants and head coach Bruce Cassidy was asked about it following the game.

“I agree with that chant by the way. I’m all for it,” the Bruins head coach said.

Cassidy is a big fan of all the other major sports teams in the city.

“I’m excited for the Red Sox,” he said. “I’m excited to see the Celtics play. I was at a game in the Finals last season against Cleveland. They’re a fun group. Obviously all four teams have aspirations of winning.”

It's hard not to love a coach who agrees that the Yankees suck!
