The Boston Bruins hit the ice for day two of training camp and just like day one, they were without their sniper in David Pastrnak.
While Brad Marchand jumped ahead of his recovery timetable, Pastrnak will still miss the start of the season.
On Tuesday, head coach Bruce Cassidy gave an update regarding the forward and while he hasn't made the sped up progression Marchand made, he's still a little bit ahead of schedule.
Cassidy told reporters that Pastrnak is a little bit ahead of the mid-February timetable and will likely return at the start of February if there's no setbacks.
Finally some good news for the B's!
Bruce Cassidy said that David Pastrnak is "a little bit ahead" of the initial mid-February timetable to return to the Bruins lineup. He could be an option at the start of February provided there are no setbacks. That's encouraging news for the Bruins
