While there hasn't been any news coming out of some team's training camps, that isn't the case with the Boston Bruins.
Unfortunately that continued on Tuesday.
Bruins' starting goalie Tuukka Rask confirmed that he's currently dealing with a fractured finger that happened while doing a step exercise on a box.
The goalie slipped and took out his finger.
Rask admitted to the media on Tuesday that he's dealing with some pain when catching the puck in his glove and has been sporting a splint on his left ring and middle finger.
With almost two weeks to go before the playoffs, Rask does expect to be 100% by then.
However the way things have been going so far at Bruins' camp.... anything can happen.
Tuukka Rask confirms that he fractured a finger on his glove hand during workouts (he slipped while doing a step workout on a box) and that's why he's got the splint on his ring & middle finger. Says it's feeling much better, but can still hurt when he catches a puck in his glove
