The Boston Bruins and general manager Don Sweeney announced some injury and roster moves on Monday.
Sweeney announced that the team has officially placed defenseman Charlie McAvoy on injured reserve with a lower body injury reserve.
The Bruins have also called up defenseman Jeremy Lauzon from the Providence Bruins on an emergency basis.
Lauzon has one goal and nine assists for 10 points with a plus-16 rating in 35 games with Providence this year.
