The Boston Bruins and general manager Don Sweeney have been pretty quiet during free agency so far.
Sweeney's only move has been re-signing defenseman Kevan Miller while all seems quiet with Torey Krug and even Zdeno Chara.
That might be because Sweeney is trying to land one of the big fish on the free agent market.
NHL insider Elliotte Friedman reported that the NHL Network that the Bruins are one of the teams talking to Taylor Hall.
Hall would be a perfect fit on the second line and finally give David Krejci the goal scoring winger he's needed for years.
There's lots of chatter that Hall is willing to sign a short term deal for a chance at the Stanley Cup before hitting free agency in a year or two when the market is more stable.
Would you like to see Hall in a Bruins' uniform?
On NHL Network, @FriedgeHNIC mentions Bruins among those interested in Taylor Hall.
