The Boston Bruins have been dealt their first bit of tough injury news.
While the biggest news came during the offseason with Tuukka Rask, one of their newest acquisitions finds himself sidelined.
After leaving the game last night, Bruins' forward Nick Foligno won't be available for Saturday's game against the Buffalo Sabres.
Head coach Bruce Cassidy told reporters today that Foligno is currently labeled as day to day and will be re-evaluated in Boston.
Foligno signed a two year deal with the Bruins during the offseason that carries an AAV of $3.8million. He's registered an assist during his two games with the Bruins' so far.
More details to come.
