There is a classic song we hear this time of year called “All I Want for Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth.” Boston Bruins fans are wishing for a healthy hockey team under the tree this holiday season.
We learned after today’s morning skate that both David Krejci and Jake DeBrusk will miss tomorrow night’s game versus the Tampa Bay Lightning.
Krejci re-aggravated the upper-body injury which caused him to miss multiple games earlier this season. DeBrusk is also nursing an upper-body injury suffered in Sunday’s loss to the Edmonton Oilers.
On the plus side, Ryan Spooner looks like he will return to the lineup tomorrow. Both Brad Marchand and David Backes were full participants at today’s morning skate and head coach Bruce Cassidy said they will both be game-time decisions versus the Bolts.
