The Boston Bruins and general manager Don Sweeney announced some roster moves on Saturday.

The team has recalled forward Jordan Szwarz from Providence on an emergency basis and have assigned defenseman Rob O'Gara to the Providence Bruins of the AHL.

Fans will be happy to see Szwarz back up, the 26 year old has three assists in nine games so far for the Bruins in 2017-18. He looked good during that stint and has looked great in Providence too, putting up five goals and three assists in six games sor, he also leads the team in +/- with a +7 rating.

O'Gara was able to play in eight games for the Bruins this season because of injuries. He'll return to the AHL where he has two assists and a +4 rating in seven games.

In other news, forward Brad Marchand was on the ice this morning but wearing a no contact jersey. His status for tomorrow's game is still up in the air.
