With the Boston Bruins dealing with some uncertainty thanks to injuries heading into Wednesday's game, the team decided to make a roster move.

The Bruins and general manager Don Sweeney announced that they've called up defenseman Matt Grzelcyk from Providence on Tuesday.

The team plays New Jersey on Wednesday and Grzelcyk will travel with the team and is expected to play in the game.

The 23 year old has played one game for the Bruins so far this year and has four assists and has +4 +/- during 14 games for Providence so far this year.

In other news from Tuesday's practice, Brad Marchand and David Backes both made it on the ice wearing non contact jerseys. Ryan Spooner and defenseman Torey Krug were also both on the ice.

Whether any of them will be available Wednesday still remains a big question as does the starting goalie with Anton Khudobin currently the hot hand.
