Earlier today, head coach Bruce Cassidy informed us that Brad Marchand and Anders Bjork will not be traveling with the team today for their annual trip to California. However, Cassidy would not rule them out for Wednesday’s game at the Anaheim Ducks, but it will be really hard for them to play if they are still in Boston.

The Bruins are certain preparing for the possibility of playing without both of them as they made a pair of roster moves late Monday afternoon.  The announced that they have recalled forwards Kenny Agostino and Peter Cehlarik from the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League on an emergency basis.

Agostino, last season’s AHL MVP, has one assist in five games at the NHL level this year.  This is Cehlarik’s first stint with the Bruins this season.  He has three goals and six points in six AHL games in Providence.  He had two assists in 11 NHL last season.
