The Boston Bruins head into Denver to take on the Colorado Avalanche at the Pepsi Center hoping to avenge Monday's 4-0 loss to the same team.

Bruins head coach Bruce Cassidy said he wasn't surprised at the results because the team had a string of poor practices heading into the loss. However intensity has improved according to Cassidy.

"It was better, the effort was better," said Cassidy. "We did some things to correct what we didn't do well…but I did like the way they responded. They seemed to be in a work-like mode without being down on themselves and not caring and 'we lost, no big deal.' I thought there was a good balance, tried to have some zip, but still had focus."

The team will continue to be without All-Star center Patrice Bergeron who's dealing with a lower body injury. However there's some light at the end of the tunnel as the team is hoping he'll return over the weekend either against Arizona or Vegas. Riley Nash looks like he'll step into the first line center role.
