The Boston Bruins have an influx of young talent into their lineup this year.  With early season injuries to the likes of Patrice Bergeron, David Backes and Noel Acciari the Bruce Cassidy will have to rely even more on the youngsters.

As pointed out by Dan Ryan of Stanley Cup of Chowder, two of the Bruins rookies are among the favorites to win the Calder Trophy this year according to the Bovada sports book out of Las Vegas.

Both forward Anders Bjork and defenseman Charlie McAvoy are tied for the third best odds to win the NHL’s rookie of the year award at 7/1. The only two players with better odds are Clayton Keller of the Arizona Coyotes and last June’s first overall pick by the New Jersey Devils Nico Hischier.

Here are the current Calder Trophy odds:

Clayton Keller (ARI): 9/2

Nico Hischier (NJ): 5/1

Anders Bjork (BOS): 7/1

Brock Boeser (VAN): 7/1

Charlie McAvoy (BOS): 7/1

Alex DeBrincat (CHI): 8/1

Nolan Patrick (PHI): 9/1

Dylan Strome (ARI): 9/1

Tyson Jost (COL): 12/1

Jakub Vrana (WAS): 20/1

Kailer Yamamoto (EDM): 20/1
