NBC announced their broadcast schedule for the upcoming season and they must love the ratings they get out of the Boston area as the Bruins will make 15 appearances.

They will join the Detroit Red Wings and Washington Capitals with the third most appearances.  The Philadelphia Flyers and Pittsburgh Penguins will each have 16 national broadcasts while the Chicago Blackhawks will appear a league high 17 times.

The Bruins will have three games on NBC’s afternoon broadcasts including versus the Penguins on the day after Thanksgiving.  They will have six games on Wednesday Night Rivalry on NBC Sports Network with games against New York Rangers (twice), Tampa Bay Lightning, Detroit Red Wings, Montreal Canadiens and St. Louis Blues.   The will host the Minnesota Wild in their only appearance on NBCSN’s Sunday Night Hockey in late March.
