It's been about a year now, and Colorado Avalanche forward Matt Duchene has yet to be traded.

Reports over the last two days had him on the move to either the Nashville Predators or the Pittsburgh Penguins, and with the Predators acquiring defenseman Alexei Emelin from Vegas, that fuelled those reports even more.

However, now Aaron Portzline of the Columbus Dispatch reports it's two other teams currently making a push for Duchene.

Portzline says that both the Columbus Blue Jackets and Boston Bruins are currently trying to negotiate with Avs general manager Joe Sakic.

Earlier in the season the Bruins were mentioned as one of the possible suitors for Duchene with both teams in constant contact, however apparently talks fell apart when Colorado would not budge from their request for defenseman Brandon Carlo.

Unfortunately for Bruins fans, the talks once again revolve around Carlo. The 20 year old defenseman is a Colorado Springs native and would be the key piece of the return.

Would you be willing to give up Carlo if it meant landing Duchene?
