The Boston Bruins and general manager Don Sweeney announced on Tuesday that they've signed Noel Acciari to a new contract. 

The new deal is a two year, one way contract worth $725k a year. 

The 25 year old played in 29 games last year putting up two goals and three assists to go along with 16 penalty minutes. 

Standing at 5'11" and weighing in at 205lbs, Acciari also played in 30 games with the AHL Providence Bruins. He was able to register six goals and eight assists along with 11 penalty minutes and finished with a +/- of +8. 

The Rhode Island native was signed by Boston as a free agent in June of 2015. 

Before signing with Boston, he spent his time with Providence College playing NCAA Division I hockey putting up a total of 32 goals, 33 assists and 65 points in 113 games. He helped the school to their first NCAA National Championship in 2015.
