The Boston Bruins were back on the practice ice at the Warrior Ice Arena as they prepare for Monday night’s huge game versus the Toronto Maple Leafs.  Bruce Cassidy’s bunch was missing some key players on Sunday morning as Patrice Bergeron, Tim Schaller and Drew Stafford were all absent.

Stafford had a very good excuse to miss today’s skate as his wife gave birth to twins.  He is expected to meet the team in Toronto and be in the lineup tomorrow night.

"Congratulations" in order for Drew Stafford! Cassidy said that Stafford's wife gave birth to twins & he will meet the team in Toronto.

Schaller is still nursing a lower-body injury that has caused him to miss the last four games.

Cassidy told reporters that Bergeron was taking a “maintenance day,” but he listed his status as questionable versus the Maple Leafs.
